ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A fugitive was arrested after getting pulled over for defective brake lamps.
On Saturday afternoon, Odessa police say they pulled over a 1995 Ford Econo van for faulty brake lights in the 1100 block of E. University.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Miguel Rodriguez Jr., 36.
An investigation revealed that Rodriguez has a felony warrant out of Ector County.
Rodriguez was later arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance-motion to adjudicate guilt, as well as two misdemeanor warrants.
