ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Odessa Police said help from the public led to the arrest of Abel Garcia Jr, the alleged shooter that left a woman in the hospital.
"I figured it was going to be longer than that and they were going to keep looking into it."
Corporal Steve LeSeueur of the Odessa Police Department said, "The Odessa Police Department responded very quickly and they did locate Garcia. He was taken into custody without incident."
One resident was relieved to know that an arrest was made quickly and was thankful no one else was hurt
"A bullet could have been lost and come all the way down here. We're only three trailers down. I'm happy because now he can't hurt anybody anymore."
Garza was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
