ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Illegal dumping is a big issue in Ector County and a couple of criminals were caught adding to the pile.
Now, Odessa Crime Stoppers is looking for the two responsible for dumping a whole lot of garbage on another man's property.
The two men caught in a couple of photos go out in broad daylight and dump a whole truckload of stuff on some property in the 3700 block of Comanche.
"The vehicle that pulls in there has New Mexico plates but they're unreadable," said Susan Rogers with Odessa CrimeStoppers. "You see one black male and one Hispanic male and they're dumping off a mattress and a sofa on this property out there."
This is a case with the Environmental Agency. Rogers says there are many similar cases and illegal dumping has grown to be a big problem.
"Illegal dumping is a huge issue here," Rogers said. "It makes our town and our city look terrible and there needs to be a stop to this."
Little did these guys know, their faces were caught on camera. Once they're caught, they'll realize what a trashy decision it was to dump illegally.
"These cameras produce really good photographs and you get a close up look at these two guys when they look right at the camera," Rogers said. "I think you'll be able to recognize who these guys are real fast. We want you to give us a call and so we can get that turned in."
