FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) - NewsWest 9's sister station, La Ley 104.7 assisted in finding a Fort Stockton man who suffers from Alzheimer's.
Ismael "Trivilin" Benavides was reported missing Monday evening in Fort Stockton.
With the help of loyal radio listeners, he made his way back home.
On Tuesday, La Ley 104.7 announced his information over the air and encourages listeners to be on the lookout.
That's when a La Ley listener called in saying "he had spent time with Mr. Benavides" but had no idea he was missing.
Then around noon on Tuesday, Benavides had been found by a Facebook friend and radio listener.
The man then contacted Benavides' daughter Imelda, who then notified authorities.
Ismael "Triviilin" Benavides is back home safe.
Imelda and her family wants to thank everyone that helped find their loved one.
