A return of winter weather is on the horizon for West Texas this weekend.
We will update this outlook as more information becomes available.
Temperatures across the metro area appear to be high enough above freezing to prevent snowfall chances and accumulations, but the chance for sleet and even frozen rain is still possible.
The highest chance of snowfall will be across both Gaines and Andrews counties.
The rain and snow will begin late Friday night and will come to an end by mid-afternoon Saturday.
