BIG SPRING, TX (KWES/KBYG) - An arson investigation is underway following a morning house fire in Big Spring.
Our media partner, KBYG, is reporting the fire broke out this morning just after 8:30 a.m. at 21st Street and Runnels Street.
Officials say everyone in the house made it out safely.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire but not before a firefighter was injured.
The firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are asking for the public's help with any information related to the incident.
Authorities said because a firefighter was injured, the arson charge could be raised to a first degree felony.
