ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Two people were cited following a rollover accident in Odessa on Friday morning.

Odessa police say they were called out to the accident just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of West University Blvd. and North Alleghaney Ave.

Authorities report a pickup truck, driven by Larry Levassar, 29, failed to yield the right of way onto University from Alleghaney and hit a Ford Explorer.

Police said the collision caused the Explorer to roll over.

During the rollover, police said marijuana fell out of the Explorer.

The driver of the Explorer, Lauren Fletcher, 35, and a 14-year-old passenger in the vehicle, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police also reported that Fletcher was cited for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces.

Levassar was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
