BIG SPRING, TX (KWES/KBYG) - A 17-year-old occupant of a home that was destroyed on Tuesday night has been charged with arson.
Big Spring firefighters told our radio partners, KBYG, they were called to the 400 block of West 6th Street just after 10:30 p.m.
Authorities said two people were able to get out of the home without injury but the home was a total loss.
According to the report, further investigation determined the fire was ruled arson.
17-year-old Brayecxel Orneles was charged and taken into custody as an adult.
