Pecos authorities searching for home invader

PECOS COUNTY, TX (KWES) - A woman broke into a home in Pecos and the Pecos Valley Crimestoppers needs your help finding her.

The home invasion happened around 5 a.m. in the 1600 block of Fifth Street in Pecos.

The homeowner had just left and realized she forgot something so she went back.

That's when the victim found the woman in her home with a gun, demanding cash.

The homeowner started yelling for help.

Police say a neighbor heard, came in and pulled the gun away from the woman.

The woman was able to get away.

She is described as being 4'11" tall and slightly overweight.

She spoke Spanish and was wearing a gray hoodie, faded blue jeans and a black covering over the bottom of her face.
