MITCHELL COUNTY, TX (KWES/KVMC Radio) -

An 18-wheeler crashed through a Mitchell County home early Monday morning.

According to KVMC/KAUM Radio, the accident happened just after 5:30 a.m. near I-20, west of Colorado City.

Authorities reported that the 18-wheeler barely missed the homeowner's bedroom where the couple had just woke up.

After the crash happened, the couple inside the home started grabbing items as a fire started inside the house.

The couple wasn't injured but the driver of the truck and a passenger were taken to a local hospital in unknown condition, according to KVMC.
