MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - A portion of the north service road of Interstate 20 in Midland was closed due to a deadly accident.
The accident happened on the north service road of Interstate 20 Monday morning in front of the Horseshoe Arena.
Midland police said a single unit commercial truck failed to yield the right of way to a pickup that was trying to enter Interstate 20.
Authorities said a man in the pickup was killed in the accident and the driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Family members have identified the man who died as Antonio Guerra and they provided NewsWest9 with a photo.
