Man accused of abusing 911 in Odessa

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Several charges are stacking up against a man in Odessa.

Officers went to the Royal Inn several times to check out a possible assault.

They ended up leaving but were called back another three times to the same place.

Dispatch says a man had been calling 911 then staying quiet when questioned.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Joshua Rojero for silent abuse call to 911.

While taking him into custody, Rojero resisted arrest multiple times.

He even threatened to hurt the officers and said he was a ranking member of the "West Texas" gang.

Rojero was also charged with resisting arrest and obstruction or retaliation.
