ODESSA, TX (KWES) - An Odessa man is behind bars after being arrested in connection with an Odessa burglary.
20-year-old Isaiah Mosby was arrested on Monday on charges of burglary of a habitation.
Odessa police were called out to the 1700 block of Golder in reference to a burglary of a habitation.
When officers arrived, a victim reported that they saw a man enter a home unlawfully.
Authorities were able to get a detailed description of the man from witnesses and the man was later found hiding in the backyard of a home in the 1500 block of Sam Houston.
Officers identified the subject as Mosby and searched his backpack.
That's when officers found a gray Apple iMac laptop and the homeowner where the burglary happened was able to provide proof that the laptop had been stolen.
Mosby was arrested and officers also learned that Mosby had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.
Mosby was charged and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
