Midland County voter registration deadline quickly approaching

MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

The voter registration deadline for Midland County elections is approaching.

Resident should have received your new voter registration card by now.

The cards are blue and white with an expiration date of December 31, 2017.

If you have yet to receive your card, contact the Midland County Elections Office at (432) 688-4890 or run by their offices at the courthouse annex on the corner of A Street and Scharbauer.

If the card you received is correct, just sign at the bottom and keep it safe.

You'll need it as well as a photo ID when you go to vote.

If you see something that needs corrected, indicate that on the back of the card then sign and return it to the P.O. Box listed on the card.

The first election starts on march first but you have to be registered by February 1 to vote.
