2015 weather recap

2015 was a very eventful weather year. We set multiple records for both temperatures and rain/snowfall.

The warmest day this year was Aug. 14 with a high of 104° and the coldest day this year was Jan. 20 at only 20°.

The wettest day this year was set Oct. 22 with 2.21" of total rainfall. On Dec. 27, we had the most snowfall with a total of 7.6".

The following days set daily-record high temperatures: 1/28 (79°) and 8/14 (104°).

The following days set daily-record low temperatures: 4/29 (38°), 6/27 (56°) and 11/22 (22°).

This summer was very interesting. We saw the second "coolest" June since 1931 and the seventh warmest July on record.

The following days set daily-record rainfall records: 1/2 (1.45"), 1/31 (0.55"), 3/21 (0.66"), 8/23 (0.79"), 10/22 (2.21") and 11/27 (0.84").

We also saw a few days set new daily-records for snowfall: 2/27 (0.5"), 2/28 (0.1") and 12/27 (7.6").

2015 was the fourth wettest year on record, which really helped out the drought!
