ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A traffic stop in Odessa ended with two people behind bars on several charges.

Odessa police say officers saw a gray 2013 Toyota Corolla traveling in the area of 8th Street and Highway 80 Tuesday night and a computer check revealed that the vehicle was stolen.

A traffic stop was made and the driver was identified as Jedidiah Gauzza, 24.

During the traffic stop, police say the passenger in the vehicle gave a false name and date of birth but was identified as Regina Rodriguez, 34.

Police say an investigation revealed that the Toyota Corolla had been stolen from the Arbor Point Apartments back on Dec. 7.

After officers conducted a search of the vehicle, they found two glass meth pipes and two bags of methamphetamine, weighing approximately 3.3 grams.

Police say a search of Rodriguez's purse discovered three driver's licenses and a social security card that didn't belong to her and Rodriguez also had a felony warrant for possession of methamphetamine-gone off bond.

Rodriguez has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fraudulent use of identifying information, false identification-fugitive from justice and possession of methamphetamine (warrant).

Gauzza was charged with possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for four misdemeanor warrants.
