ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A man with theft in his past was at it again on Wednesday.

Odessa police were on patrol when they observed a possible beer run in progress.

30-year-old David Michael Galindo was walking with a 25 ounce can of beer when he was picked up by Odessa police.

Surveillance footage from a nearby 7-Eleven confirmed that Galindo had stolen the beer.

An investigation revealed that he had five prior convictions for theft of property.

His criminal past bumped up this charge to a felony.
