Keep Midland Beautiful By Recycling

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

It looks like we wont have a white Christmas but you can help make it a green one if you recycle.

Keep Midland beautiful is urging you to recycle with a few helpful hints.

The organization emphasizes you take any cardboard to any MISD elementary school.

Adding not to forget to break boxes down as much as you can. In case a recycling bin is full, do not leave items outside the containers.

Containers can blow away and instantly become litter.

Other helpful hints are reusing, you too can reuse the tissue paper next year.

Trash tends to go up 25% from Thanksgiving to Christmas so using those blue bins and green containers can be useful.

For more information you can call the organization at 432-688-7745.
