Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed Against Bison Trucking

MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

Earlier this week, we told you about an Odessa man who was killed when a crane fell on him at work.

Now, his wife has filed a lawsuit against the company he was working for.

The deadly accident happened Monday morning at a Bison Trucking location in Midland County.

A crane that was unloading counterweights from the 18 wheeler he drove.

That crane fell onto 58-year-old Eseciel Uballe and killed him.

Now, his wife has hired attorneys to hold bison trucking responsible.

They have filed a wrongful death lawsuit.

The attorneys say that, “this is a case where an employer failed to ensure the safety of its employees.”

They also go on to say that Uballe's death was preventable.
