The longtime unsolved murder of a West Texas teen has authorities coming together in an effort to find answers.

Authorities are asking for your help in solving the murder of 13 year old Hailey Dunn.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers Unsolved Crimes Investigation Team recently launched a new public awareness program.

What they are going to do is feature one unsolved case each month in an effort to generate new investigative leads and spark added attention.

At the top of their list is the murder of Hailey Dunn.

She disappeared back on December 27, 2010.

After years of searching, her body was discovered near Lake J.B. Thomas in March of 2013.

Even though it's been almost five years since she disappeared, it's still unclear what really happened to her.

People have been questioned but her father is convinced someone isn't telling the truth.

Authorities are hoping that something will surface with this new public awareness program.

They are asking anyone with information on the unsolved murder of Hailey Dunn to submit a tip to the Texas Rangers Cold Case website at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/TexasRangers/UnsolvedHomicides/tipForm.aspx?ref=153 or call 1-800-346-3243.
