PRESIDIO, TX (KWES) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations officers made a big drug bust on Friday in Presidio.
According to a press release, CBP officers seized 122 pounds of marijuana.
Officials tell NewsWest9, the seizure was made just before 9 a.m. Friday when a 2003 Lincoln Aviator entered the facility from Mexico.
The vehicle was selected for a thorough inspection and an anomaly was noticed in the floor of the vehicle after a Z-portal X-Ray scan.
Upon further investigation, the removal of a car seat revealed the false compartment containing several bundles containing marijuana.
