ANDREWS, TX (KWES) - The Andrews Police Department will be getting ready to say goodbye to a key member of the force.
At Thursday night's city council meeting, Andrews Police Chief Bud Jones announced he would be retiring.
Chief Jones has been with the Andrews Police Department for the 29 years, having been chief for the past 27 years.
He also has 14 years of military experience.
Jones says he's thinking his last day with the force will be around the end of March 2016.
