Inquiry Underway After Odessa Police Vehicle Was Parked in Handicap Spot

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

An inquiry is underway after a complaint was made regarding an Odessa Police Department patrol unit was seen parked in a handicap parking space.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest9, they were informed about the issue which occurred at the Burger King on North County Road West.

We’re told the on-duty shift commander was notified and an inquiry will be conducted and appropriate action taken.

Odessa Police Department tells us that the on-duty commander stopped by the Burger King location to use the restroom and was parked in the parking space for a couple of minutes. After using the restroom the commander returned to his call.

Odessa Police are asking citizens if you wish to commend or complain about the action of any police officer to contact them through their website at http://www.odessapd.com or by calling the watch commander at (432) 333-3641.
