WINKLER COUNTY, TX (KWES)
The name of a man who led authorities across state lines in a chase has been released.
The man has been identified as Fernando Sauceda, 31, of Jal, New Mexico.
Details remain limited on why the chase started but it began in Jal and ended on State Highway 115 near Wink, Texas.
Troopers tell NewsWest9, they put out spikes which stopped Sauceda's car.
They say Sauceda threatened officers and that's when a Jal police officer shot and killed him.
