The Cyber Monday lines are packed and moving right now. Miles of conveyor belts shuttling holiday orders at Amazon. Like many retailers, they anticipate this will be the busiest Cyber Monday ever.

“We do expect today (Monday) to be a record, this is part of a season of deals for us with Black Friday and Cyber Monday for us but Cyber Monday is the King and it is going to be the biggest day for us,” said Dave Clark with SVP Amazon Operations.

Cyber Monday shoppers are expected to spend $3 billion or more, up 12 percent from last year..

That doesn't include those who logged in early. According to the National Retail Federation, more people shopped online than stood in line on Black Friday.

A trend, according to a survey from SAS, driven by "convenience, value, and the ability to compare prices and search for better deals."

“You can save on those great high ticketed items, appliances, electronics, high end accessories,” said Rebekah George with RetailMeNot.com.

Electronics are by-far the biggest draw, accounting for as much as 75 percent of Monday’s online purchases.

But then it kind of makes sense as high-tech shoppers, buying high-tech on one of the highest volume shopping days of the season.
