A Hobbs woman is jailed for her involvement in a burglary. The criminal complaint says it all started when 26-year-old Jasmine Mackey and another woman went to a home on Cooper Street.

HOBBS, NM (KWES)

A Hobbs woman is jailed for her involvement in a burglary.

The criminal complaint says it all started when 26-year-old Jasmine Mackey and another woman went to a home on Cooper Street.

They knocked on the door and after no answer, they left.

The two women came back a short time later and knocked again.

The report says a man opened the door and told them to leave.

That's when a man with a mask and a gun charged at the man next to the door.

A fight broke out and Mackey and the other woman ran inside the home.

The suspect hit the man in the face and the report says he cocked his gun back.

That's when another man inside the home, fired at the suspect and hit him.

After the gunfire rang out, Mackey and the two other suspects ran away.
