Odessa Traffic Stop Leads to Large Drug Bust

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Two men are behind bars following a traffic stop in Odessa.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, officers conducted a traffic stop on a white 2003 Ford F-150 in the 2800 block of East 11th Street on Wednesday evening.

The driver was identified as Osvaldo Urias, 25 and a passenger in the truck was identified as Timothy Ramos, 26.

According to the report, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, a bag of cocaine was found near the center console and weighed approximately 464 grams. A scale and small plastic bags were also found.

Police also found $2,000 in cash on Ramos.

Both men have been charged with manufacture or delivery of cocaine.
