Attempted Robbery Ends with Apology

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland Police are searching for a man caught on camera attempting to rob a Midland pharmacy, and then apologizing to the pharmacist.

The suspect walked into the CVS on Andrews Highway around 12:45 a.m. on November 5.

Police say he handed a note to the pharmacist that read, "Give me a bottle or I will kill you."

The suspect also claimed to have a gun.

Police say he then apologized and left empty-handed after the pharmacist told the suspect that he recognized him as a customer.
