ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Possession of drugs and a gun landed a felon back behind bars Sunday afternoon.
Roberto Herrera, 36, was pulled over around 1 p.m. in the area of Crane Avenue and Clifford Street.
Odessa Police say they could smell marijuana coming from Herrera's pickup.
Police then searched the truck and found 23 grams of marijuana and 155 grams of cocaine.
Police say they also found individual baggies, a digital scale and a loaded Beretta handgun.
They discovered Herrera was a convicted felon and not allowed to have a gun inside his car.
Herrera was arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana.
