The Junior League of Odessa is kicking off it 33rd Annual Merry Marketplace with an "Old World Christmas" theme.
The marketplace will be open at the Ector County Coliseum until from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Shoppers have plenty to choose from at the marketplace, including delicious food, artwork, clothing for every size and season, jewelry and much more.
Tickets are $10 a piece, and cash or checks are accepted.
The hosts, Junior League of Odessa, hold this event every year to raise funds for nonprofit organizations.
"Some of our past projects have been Teen Court, Hope House and Ronald McDonald. Right now, our two projects are Food 2 Kids and the Crisis Center," says Junior League of Odessa's Nancy Bowles. "We have contributed back into Odessa over $6.5 million in funding to nonprofits."
Many non-profit organizations Odessans see around town got their start with help from the Junior League of Odessa.
Along with the Merry Marketplace, Junior League is also hosting a Girls' Night Out on Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. and Breakfast with Santa for the kids on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., all at the Ector County Coliseum.
