BIG SPRING, TX (KWES)
Parts of Big Spring will have little to no water for most of Thursday night.
Crews will be shutting off the water at 10 p.m. so they can work on replacing a couple of valves with PVC.
The two 20-inch water valves have been broken for almost eight years.
Areas affected will be the north, central and east parts of the city.
Workers will be busy throughout the night until they finish the project.
They will also be replacing the line on 16th and 17th Streets.
This will help provide the city with water during major line breaks.
