Texas and U.S. retail gasoline prices are up by a few cents this week.
The statewide average price at the pump reportedly rose 3 cents to $1.97 per gallon, while the nationwide average increased 2 cents and hit $2.21 per gallon.
Houston and Beaumont drivers have the cheapest gasoline in Texas, at a $1.93 average.
Austin and San Marcos have the highest average price in Texas, at $2 per gallon.
The Midwest has had increased refinery maintenance in recent weeks due to heavier production during the summer months.
