Seven Cases of Mono Reported at Odessa High School

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Mono is making its way through Odessa High School.

Officials with the Ector County Independent School District say 7 cases of mono are confirmed.

Symptoms of mono include running a fever, fatigue, sore throat and body aches.

The school district is asking students with those symptoms to stay home and go see a doctor.

Mono is a viral infection that is spread through saliva.

Students are urged not to share food or drinks with any other students who may have symptoms.
