Lea County Hosting Paint the County Pink Day

HOBBS, NM (KWES) -

Lea County will be observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Saturday with a walk.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will take place in Hobbs, and it begins at the New Mexico Junior College parking lot at 10 a.m.

Participants will walk on the Lovington Highway Walking and Jogging Trail.

There is no fee to walk, but participants are encouraged to wear a Paint the County Pink t-shirt, which can be purchased for $20 in advance or on the morning of the walk.
