HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) - A busy day for fire fighters in Howard County on Saturday. They had numerous calls, including a mobile home that went up in flames. That happened around 1:00 in the afternoon in the 2800 block of East Highway 350. People were inside the home when the blaze broke out but everyone got out safely. The mobile home burned to the ground and was a total loss. The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
Firefighters were also called to a heater treater fire. That blaze was sparked around 2:30 in the afternoon on Jim Long Road in northern Howard County. No one was injured in that fire. It was caused by mechanical problems.
