Man Caught with Brass Knuckles and Stolen Property

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - An Odessa man was arrested after deputies found stolen property out of Ector County and Alabama in his possession.

On Wednesday morning, deputies responded to the 3500 block of Greenlee Avenue regarding a man unloading what seemed to be stolen equipment into a storage building.

When deputies arrived, they saw Mark Rickman, 29, exiting an RV.

Deputies approached Rickman and checked for weapons. That's when they say they found a pair of brass knuckles in his back pocket.

Deputies discovered that the RV Rickman had was reported stolen out of Ector County.

They also found a motorcycle in Rickman's possession with no license plate. The ignition was punched out and wires near the starter button cut and stripped.

Deputies discovered that the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Odessa, and they found a weed eater that was reported stolen out of Calhoun County, Alabama.

On top of the deputies' findings, Rickman also had an outstanding municipal warrant.

Rickman was arrested and taken to Ector County Jail.
