Odessa Man Arrested After Credit Card Abuse Investigation

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

An Odessa man is accused of stealing a woman's credit card after police tracked him down.

On September 18, the woman reported her Target credit card stolen to Odessa Police and said the thief had made purchases on the card.

Police discovered after the card had stolen, it was used on September 1 and 2 and that the total amount spent was $356.

After further investigation, police also found that Corey Bostic, 27, had called Target's customer service and updated the account information on the card.

On October 7, police spoke with Bostic over the phone. They say he confessed to using the woman's Target credit card without her permission and was able to name the dates he used the card.

Bostic was arrested on Tuesday, October 13, and charged with credit card abuse.
