Odessa Fire and Rescue Hosting Fire Prevention Week Events

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

This week is Fire Prevention Week, and Odessa Fire and Rescue has a host of activities planned.

Elementary students will create "Fire Prevention" themed poster and the winning posters will be displayed at Music City Mall.

O.F.R. will be also be at Music City Mall to perform puppet shows at 7 every evening this week.

The winning posters will be displayed at the Central Fire Station and Administration Building at 1100 West Second Street on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Citizens are invited to tour the facility, get a free blood pressure check and receive important information regarding smoke detectors.

There will also be a vehicle extrication demonstration, a roll over simulator and a a number of other activities for children.
