Odessa Police Reminding Citizens About National Night Out

Odessa Police Department Press Release

The Odessa Police Department would like to remind the citizens of Odessa that National Night Out is right around the corner. The deadline to sign up is 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 2. This year’s event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6. The Odessa Police Department would like to encourage block captains to sign up as soon as possible. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to: Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime partnerships: and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
