ODESSA, TX (KWES) - An Odessa woman is behind bars on charges of evading arrest and criminal trespass.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the 7-11 in the 600 block of West 42nd Street in reference to a disturbance.
According to the report, the suspect had been issued a criminal trespass warning from the store.
As officers were responding, they found a female subject matching the suspect's description walking in the 4000 block of Golder.
The woman was later identified as Connie Hughes, 46, of Odessa, and that's when she began running from the officers.
Hughes was later caught and taken into custody for evading.
Officials say an investigation revealed that Hughes had a previous conviction for evading arrest or detention.
