Teen Arrested After Bringing Gun to Midland School

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

One teen is in big trouble after being arrested for bringing a gun to school.

Midland Police tell NewsWest9, they were called out to Premier High School around 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Authorities say the teen brought a .22 pistol to school and he told authorities that he was going to get “jumped” so he allegedly brought the gun for protection.

The teen, who has been identified as Juan Sebastian Dominguez, 17, is charged with carrying a weapon on prohibited premises.

He was arrested and is currently behind bars at the Midland County Jail.
