Two Suspects At Large After Chase Ends in Midland

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Two men are on the run after leading police on a chase that ended in Midland.

DPS Troopers tell NewsWest9, a chase started at Highway 191 and Loop 250 on Wednesday afternoon.

The chase lasted for about seven to eight minutes before coming to an end in the 3400 block of Stanolind, which is located near Lee High School.

Authorities say the men fled on foot and officials thought the men went into a house nearby but that wasn't the case.

Two nearby Midland ISD schools, Lee High School and Rusk Elementary, were placed under lockdown as a precaution.

The two men are described to be between 5'8" to 6' tall, one man is believed to be wearing white and blue while the other is wearing white and black.

We're told the two men are still at large and authorities say the men are wanted for evading arrest as well as other crimes.
