Two Big Spring Men Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit

BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - Two Big Spring men were arrested after a late night vehicle pursuit.

Big Spring Police tell NewsWest9, they were called out to the Canyon Crossing Apartments in reference to an assault.

A victim told authorities that he was threatened by another man with a handgun.

According to the report, as the officers arrived, a vehicle that matched the victim's description was seen leaving the complex.

The vehicle was occupied by Victor Castillo, 20, and William Morris, 33, both of Big Spring.

Authorities say they followed the vehicle and as they turned on their emergency lights, the vehicle began to flee.

The pursuit later ended in the 1500 block of Bluebird where both men fled on foot.

They were later caught and arrested and police say no weapon was found on either men or in the vehicle.

Both men have been charged with evading police and possession of marijuana.

The investigation into the case is ongoing and both men could face more charges.
