Man Arrested for Aggravated Robbery in Fort Stockton

FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) -

One man is behind bars accused of aggravated robbery.

Fort Stockton Police tell NewsWest 9, officers were called out to Candle Wood Suites on Interstate 10 in reference to a robbery.

Police say a victim reported that a man approached her, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.

However, police say he left after not getting any money from the victim.

Officers were later given a description of the suspect and he was later found near the motel.

The suspect was identified as Hector Mario Castillo, 21.

We’re told officers also found the clothing, weapon and mask that was used in the robbery and those items were eventually linked to Castillo.

Castillo has been charged with aggravated robbery and is behind bars at the Pecos County Jail.
