ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A disgruntled former patient shot marbles at the glass windows of a downtown Odessa medical practice on Thursday night, causing at least $15,000 of damage, according to the clinic's lead chiropractor, Dr. Frank Gonzales.
No injuries were reported, he confirmed.
Surveillance cameras captured multiple angles of the incident at Multi Care Plus, located at the corner of N. Grant Avenue and W. 8th Street, and linked the crime to a white sedan seen circling the block in the video footage.
"It was one person in [the car]," Gonzales told NewsWest 9. "I think he loaded marbles into a paintball gun... and then you can see him driving around [my clinic] for an hour. During that same time, the cameras inside show the windows getting hit... We got here Friday morning and the windows were riddled with these larges holes."
The hour-long marble-shooting spree began sometime between 8:30 and 9 p.m. on Thursday, he said.
Odessa Police have not released the identity of the suspect or any possible motives.
According to Gonzales, the former patient believed to be behind the incident had caused previous disturbances at Multi Care Plus. He remains bound by doctor-patient confidentiality laws and was unable to discuss details of their conflict.
