MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - A 1-year-old was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after being ejected from a vehicle in a late night crash.
This happened at the intersection of Wadley and Loop 250 in Midland shortly before 11 p.m. Friday.
Sara Bustilloz with the City of Midland tells us two cars drove into the intersection and collided.
City officials say a GMC Sierra was going northbound on Loop 250 service road with six people in the vehicle, including the infant. The other vehicle was a Ford Taurus that was traveling eastbound on Wadley.
Officials are still trying to figure out who ran the red light.
We are told the 1-year-old was sitting in the lap of a front seat passenger, and faces life-threatening injuries because of the crash.
