Saturday Movie Night to Benefit Coats for Kids

Cold weather is right around the corner. To make sure children stay warm during the wintertime, The Professional Firefighters Association of Midland is presenting an outdoor movie night to benefit Coats for Kids.

This event will be at the Midland Park Mall Saturday, September 19. The feature film will be Disney's Frozen.

Pending weather conditions, the movie might be moved inside the mall. For an exact location, look for a firetruck outside with a banner, and they will be more than happy to direct you to the right place.

Music will start at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will start as soon as the sun goes down. Everyone is invited, and the public is encouraged to bring donations for the Coats for Kids to benefit local children. Donations can be made in the form of cash or credit card. If you'd like to make a donation at a later time, firefighters will be able to give you more information to do so.

Coats for Kids helps the less fortunate by giving them brand new winter coats that will help them stay warm during the winter. Especially if they walk to school, these items can be vital.

If you can't make it to movie night, and you'd like to donate on behalf of the campaign, visit www.operationwarm.org/midland or contact PFAM President, Eric Steward, at estewart@iafflocal4405.org or 432-559-2074.
