HOBBS, NM (KWES) - Two people are behind bars in Hobbs, accused of robbing a homeowner at gunpoint.
Police say on Thursday morning, 38-year-old Carl Berry went into the home on East Humble.
The report says he had a gun and forced the homeowner to give him money.
While the victim was getting the cash, police say Berry fired several rounds near him.
The victim eventually ran out the backdoor while Berry reloaded the gun.
The report states Berry fired at the victim as he fled, but missed.
Witnesses were able to give police a description of the getaway car.
They later spotted it with Berry driving, and say 24-year-old Britnea Atkinson was his passenger.
