Hobbs Woman Caught With Methamphetamine

A Hobbs woman, who was recently arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, was busted with a whole lot more methamphetamine.

Authorities raided 41-year-old Karen Diaz-Cheatham's home on Tuesday.

Police say they found more than 550 grams of methamphetamine.

The street value of the drugs was over $50,000.

The report says authorities also seized three guns.

Earlier this month, an undercover agent met up with Diaz-Cheatham and bought some methamphetamine from her.

A warrant was later issued for her.

She turned herself in but bonded out on that charge.
