Six People Plead Guilty in Connection With Methamphetamine Trafficking

BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) -

Six people have pled guilty in connection with methamphetamine trafficking.

Big Spring Police and along with Department of Homeland Security authorities conducted an investigation on a group of people involved with and conspiring to distribute large quantities of methamphetamine within Big Spring.

The following people have pled guilty:

  • Gregory Shane Roberson, 32, received a sentence of 72 months in federal prison
  • James Wildhaber, 52, received a sentence of 102 months in federal prison
  • Kyle Seber, 26, received a sentence of 84 months in federal prison
  • Elia Hernandez Florez, 35, received a sentence of 42 months in federal prison.
  • Jesse Rodriguez Lopez, 47, is currently awaiting sentencing
  • Tex Jeffcoat, 37, is currently awaiting sentencing

All six people were found guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

    A shooting just after 3 p.m. Saturday near 3rd Street and Detroit Avenue has left one person in the hospital at University Medical Center.
